Some people went to the McDonald’s Nangang store to want internal use, but they didn’t expect to post an announcement to stop using the internal use area on the 2nd floor. Experts said that for example, the second floor of a house with a land use zone of “Residential Three” can only be used for general residences, and the Construction Management Office also responded that if a shop uses it in violation of regulations, it can be fined up to 300,000 yuan if it is not improved within the time limit.

Reporter Cao Jiaoren: “After ordering in a fast food restaurant, I want to sit down and eat it directly in the restaurant, but I walk to the entrance of the stairs on the second floor, and a notice is posted directly on it, prohibiting the use of the restaurant on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.”
After the McDonald’s Nangang store was renovated at the end of October last year, the original interior area of the restaurant on the second floor was closed and completely changed to takeout.
People: “If I want to use it internally, I can’t use it internally, so I will change it to another place.”
People: “It shouldn’t matter, it’s not so good for internal use in the epidemic now.”

Even the second McDonald’s Minsheng store has also posted an announcement to stop internal use, and all stores in Taiwan are re-examining after renovation, such as the guide store, the second Fuxing store, and the newly opened Zhongshan North store, which also do not have an internal use area on the second floor.
The bento shop and dumpling shop in Section 5 of Minsheng East Road do not have space on the second floor, and at most there are seats on the first floor, which may have been restricted by law. For example, the McDonald’s Nangang store belongs to the third type of residential area, and the first floor is suitable for general retail use, but from the second floor, it can only be residential. McDonald’s responded that after taking the initiative to review the relevant regulations, the dining space on the second floor of some restaurants was closed, and the restaurant only provided takeout and delivery after the renovation.
Chen Taiyuan, full-time manager of the entrustment department of Donglong Real Estate, said: “Restaurants that were already in operation before the implementation of the new law can continue to operate as they are, but if they are renovated and renovated after the future, they will no longer be protected from existing violations.”

Zheng Dachuan, a spokesman for the Taipei City Construction Management Office: “We will send a letter within a time limit, revert to the original state or make up the procedures, and if it is overdue, we will issue a fine of 6 to 300,000 yuan.”
If there are regular inspections, or there are people who report non-compliance, they will ask for improvement, and if you want to do a catering business, you must also read the usage specifications clearly before buying or renting a house, so as not to accidentally violate the rules.
